Give him 14 seasons and I'm sure he'll get close.
I think Martinelli looks ace personally. Rough around the edges due to playing at such a low level previously but there isn't much about his game that reminds me of Walcott.
Definitely agree with this though. He's shown intelligence beyond his years in pre-season. He should come on leaps and bounds with proper coaching too. And he's shown he's got great speed, too, even without the same kind of physical development as the other youngsters we have that are around his age. Might be a slow burner but I think there's potentially a very good player that will emerge after lots of hard work.
Agreed. I think he's close from a physical perspective, though it's clear he needs to add some muscle mass.
I thought he was very involved vs Angers, and showed a wide range of abilities. Had a nice header on, flicked on some crosses, and anticipated a few runs forward well. He also seems clued into his team mates and can be effective when in possession, something that Walcott rarely ever had.
What (little) I've seen of Saka suggests he's maximizing his potential near goal when he's in one on one situations. Don't think I've seen much else of his game, hopefully it's there though!
