I think Emery has his faults, but the key issues with this team are there's a lack of movement, energy, technical ability and positional intelligence in the players, particularly in the middle of the park.
Positives are he isn't afraid to play young players and has pushed the development of Guendouzi/Martinelli/Saka/Willock. Negatives are woeful defensive performances.
Ultimately I think he is capable of getting this team to finish fourth, but the fans are too toxic, and it's reached a point where some want the team to drop points to get him sacked, so I don't expect him to now.
