I will wait until at least 10 games into the season to make a proper assessment, but personally I don’t see what Emery brings to the table.
The fact we don’t have a clue how we will line up tactically, speaks volumes.
Let’s see what our new signings bring to us.
People moaned that Wenger was too tactically inflexible, but at least he had conviction. Emery is the polar opposite and doesn't inspire any confidence or continuity with his constant changes. I don't see us improving defensively and another 50+ goals looks on the cards. We're also one fullback injury away from playing 5 defenders which means that Bellerin and Tierney/Monreal have to stay fit, and/or Kolasinac and AMN need replacing.
Absolutely mate.
I will wait a bit longer to say for definite, but some people are acting as though there is some grand plan, that the rest of us aren’t seeing.
There is nothing there, other than passing out of the back.
I actually agree with Emery on passing out the ball from the back, the problem he is and will be let down from Mustafi and co.
The this is the second preseason Emery has had, so you would have thought that a basic pattern and structure would be there.
I can’t see it, but for those who can, please share exactly what it is you see.
