Well, that changes a lot. It means you wishing him gone isn't the result of what we've seen from him, but that you had it in for him from the start. That's disappointing.

No, it means I saw enough in the opening 5-10 games of last season.

I've given him enough rope. There needs to be a sharp turnaround in our level by January, otherwise it's not worth persisting anymore

Look people will say all kinds of things now , but he should have been kicked after that shitshow towards the end of last season. He has not changed , we will revisit games like these again and again with Emery in charge and until we realise he isn't worth it. Seriously forget about the player's at the moment and look at the football we are playing.

Yep. Not getting UCL football was criminal with the chances we got last year. Plenty of managers got sacked for lesser offences. I don't know how he survived those losses

Raul should be working on finding a top manager.

If things don't improve, and it's not looking very likely they will, we should replace Emery in the summer. Two seasons is more than enough time to turn things around.

It's really frustrating that we haven't improved neither defensively nor offensively.

Who do we replace home with that is realistically available now and that will likely improve us? I think this season is all on him but I don't see a viable alternative available.

I agree on the summer being the time. On the defence the coaching looks not to have done much but why did we got sign defenders and 2 CBs at that. Massive oversight by the whole club.

I think you could plop any defenders into our system and they would look shite. It's insane the way we invite pressure onto us despite having a defense and midfield that can't play out from the back

Oh I think we set up badly as well it's just we don't have any half decent defenders and I think it's strange that wasn't just of our recruitment in the summer

If Sokratis didn’t fuck up we would have been on equal points with Man City. Fine margins.

That's the problem though it's never if our players fuck up ... it's when, it's expected nowadays. It's even more likely using those garbage tactics like today . Our defensive shape and general play invites pressure , look at the goals weve conceded , the numbers are staggering.

Not really, had his 'style' sussed in that period. I did say 5-10 games and I'm talking league games, so with europa rubbish it's closer to 10-15 games.

But whatever really - main point is that Emery isn't great and we shouldn't delay in finding a replacement.

We have what looks like a relatively straight forward run of fixtures now, so hopefully we can regroup and pull it together.
