I think it's the other way around. The players don't like his tactics, they aren't comfortable playing his style and they don't know what formation he is playing game to game

Agree the distinct style thing is a red herring. He does chop and change too much though and I don't know what sort of shape he wass trying today. Pepe is out right 90% of the time but Ozil is through the middle, there is no balance to that?

I think today is his first major screw up of the season. He wont get away with many more games like that. We need a minimum of 10 points from the next 4 games.

We'd still be trying to pass it out from the back with the same players under arteta. City made the same shit errors until they bought a new back line twice. Emery is gonna need more time to get us playing out from the back we've got saliba, Tierney and Bellers to come in, leno is good with his feet and we know Luiz can play that way. Long term wise were shifting to be able to play that way. And is isnt going to happen quickly. If we give up on it we never get there if we stick with it we can go up a level as a team.

Our midfield is completely incapable of getting a handle on the game. And I'm not sure thats getting sorted out it seems in part by design.

His style is always to adapt to our opponent and defend against their strengths. He respect opponents way too much and is a shit Rafa Benitez at doing it. With the players we have there is absolutely no need to pay respect to shit opponents.

He keep mentioning he wants us to be protagonist, attack press high and out score opponents. I haven't seen enough of that. Most of the time we play too conservative, play shit pragmatic football but yet we allow opponents more shots than we attempt. Its stupid and ridiculous.

I mean, it is tragic - there's no great divide between the Emery Outs and the Emery In. It's just got to the stage where we're all like: "well, this is a bit shit - hope he goes soon."
