daredevil Injuries and dealing with it is part and parcel of winning league titles, and in any other era, we'd be 15 points ahead and marching on to a title. Unfortunately, we are competing against a side whose squad depth could easily compete for the title, and that will most likely end up being the difference between us.
Agreed. It is what it is. But still, there are game we could have taken more from given how consistent we've been this season. We'd been robbed against Brentford, United and some other games I can't remember now, on top of that we really should have put the Liverpool and West Ham games to bed. Liverpool I can forgive, West Ham was just too much complacency from some of our experienced guys. Aside from those 2 draws as well as the ref inspired dropped points, we deserved to lose to Everton and City, were shithoused out of a win by Newcastle and can't even remember how the Leeds game went.
That's 8 games we've dropped points in this season, 2 of which we were robbed, 2 of which we were 2-0 up and should have seen out, with the other 4 being fair enough. We've done a lot right this season. A lot. We've been by far the best and most consistent team this season. Despite that, I can't help but feel we could have been even further ahead.
