He is a great player, and he seems like a good lad, and he deserves a very high wage given his stratospheric potential. But I seriously don't like the way he's managed and stage-managed, and he is not a flawless defender either.
If Saliba wants to pop off to flirt with relegation somewhere like Chelsea, and have someone like Potter trial him at centre forward for £300k per week, then that club can pay us £100m for him. What he should do is take a great wage at the best club in the world.
