Glad he’s settled in with the boys now. He’s also started expanding his range of passing. I would have loved to see more instances of him carrying the ball out of the back line to break the press, but I don’t anticipate we’ll see that too often, as the system discourages that sort of play in general. However, against teams that press high consistently eg City, Liverpool, that press resistance and ability to dribble out will serve him (and us) very well.
