Again, I think that's disingenuous. You don't get anywhere or do anything without a damn good manager that knows the team he wants to build.
We've spent good money on transfers but at the same time slashed the wage bill. We are nowhere close to the other top clubs in terms of total investment (fees + wages) - which is the figure that should matter if you were making a genuine argument.
