Occasionally, my curiosity gets the better of me and I unhide his posts, and my favourite by far was when he accused someone for always being confrontational. The level of projection was unreal.

We're out here sharing opinions that are 99% wrong, and you go instantly on the offensive if you see anything anybody says that you don't like. You hate getting called out for it, so you turn around and complain about other people complaining. Bit rich that.

To be fair to Jones, he has mentioned more than a few times that he hopes Arteta proves him wrong. So far that hasn't happened at all.

And also, he isn't complaining about other people complaining. He is calling out the trolls who only appears to laugh at others and only support us when we win. Both of them are far more toxic than anyone else here

Absolute nonsense again. Just a second ago I couldn't concede when I'm wrong, now it's that I'm toxic or "complain about people complaining". Where's your vigilante stance when Arteta's fans call 90% of the squad bums, shitsters fucking wastemen and whatever else?

It's only "going on the offensive" when it's people directing their frustration at the manager who's throwing everyone under the bus, fucking crickets or even applause from you when Arsenal players of merit are hounded out by the gaffer and his rabid PR.

I love Ben White, but there is something so very right about seeing Saliba and Gabriel as the CB pairing. The sight of those two huge bastards pushing up as the last line... absolutely love it. Over the moon to have all 3 of them, and intrigued by the prospect of White playing the tucked in right back role.

Saliba has been every bit as good as I believed he would be in this pre-season. He has matured so much in the last year or two. He was always incredible for his age, but he lacked a bit physically - especially on the turn and speed over short distances, he was also prone to diving in or being a bit too aggressive. He's obviously not the finished article - no one in our squad is - but he is pretty much a superstar CB already. He's basically a cheat code player in counter-attack situations in much the same way van Dijk is, and I think with how we want to play, that will be a game-changer for us this season.

Quite excited to see what Saliba can do this season. The guy seems to have all the attributes to be a great success. Gives us the interesting option of playing White at RB if needed, or in the centre of a 3. His pace and size (like a defensive Henry) are tremendous assets.

To be honest I got the complete opposite impression of him from when we were first linked and bought him. One of the things I liked about him originally was his ability to use his strength to always knock the attacker off the ball without diving in. He almost always stayed on his feet from what I used to see. His ability in the ball was just the icing on the cake for me but physically, and defensively he always imoressed me with his power, pace and ability to read the game and not have to over commit.

He's great. Has all the tools to be a top players. Not sure I'm totally convinced he is ready to be starting as most. Feel positionally he is not quite there yet, his recovery pace helps him out ofcourse but we'll see if that's enough in the prem..

Just a matter of time though... No doubt he will improve under Arteta and playing with better players

Yeah hopefully everyone now see how good he is. He already was in the team of the year etc in half a season with Nice the year before last although people keep dissing ligue 1 standards etc. He is the real deal

I think he'll start the season alongside Gabriel and from there the position is his to win or lose. With Tomi still out I don't think he's going to make the starting XI for Palace even if he's back in training so White will likely start there. Its good to have a bit of competition between Saliba, White and even Gabriel this season, it should push them on and stop any sort of complacency. I'd love if we could add that level of competition in midfield too.

I know it was just a pre-season game, but seeing the intensity from every single Arsenal player and how pathetic Chelsea looked by comparison, was stirring stuff for me. We pressed like animals!

I'm certain we'll turn up correct against Palace. What happens I don't know, but they'll be none of this nancy boy, half arsed nonsense, I'm sure of that.

Adding Saliba and Jesus in one summer is a big deal. Top class players. Imagine we get one more like that in midfield? Phwoar!

I was a bit worried about his tendency to stick in a foot in the box, but he seems to have eradicated that from his game. He was always crazy strong but he definitely had issues growing into his frame in terms of agility and explosiveness, as you'd expect with a kid that was 6'4 and 200lbs and 18.

I'm so excited about him. 3 long years of waiting and now we're ready to go. I really want to see this contract announcement now though.

It has that Liverpool feel to it. When van Dijk and Matip were stood on the halfway line and you see the other team breaking in numbers for what, by all logic, should be a red alert situation and yet you're watching like "naaah" as they proceed to ruthlessly snuff it out.

Few clubs in Europe will have the quality and strength in depth that we have at center half now.

Augment the center of the park with such quality and I might start expecting a challenge at the title.
