That's all assuming Arteta even wants him back as anything more than a warm body and is actually willing to give him a real shot at staking a claim for the first team.
Do I think Arteta will push to get him back if he's unable to buy another CB? For sure, he's keot many players he had no intention of playing just so he could have the option, like we did in the past with AMN and Nketiah.
Do I think he'll play him more than a handful of games unless forced by injuries and suspensions? Doubt it.
We all know how Arteta is with rotating and using his squad, it'll probably be even worse for a CB looking for a chance than a winger. I mean look at how little ESR, Pepe and Lokonga play. Look how little Elneny and Tavares played until they were forced upon him.
