this was the biggest red flag early in artetas tenure. this situation is a study in the hamfisted manner the clubs resources have been used by him.

"Ready for this club" is relative. If the current options are worse then it's obviously bullshit but I guess some are still deciding whether they think Saliba would've been even worse for us than what the current crop is showing.

Edu & the club should never have allowed him to do so or to pursue his want for left footed CBs to play on the left until he had shown the need so as to finish his project, not to start it.

It is beyond belief that we started with Kolasinac at centreback yesterday and have Saliba out on loan.

Ben White, I get it. Holding, fine, I kind of see why his experience might be useful. Chambers...well, he can sorta of play right back as well so maybe more useful. But Kolasinac? Fuck off.

The worst part is I don’t even think it’s that much of an icing. It allows Mari to pass it to Tierney, who can then pass it back to Mari, who can then pass it to Leno, who then kicks it long back to the opposition.

There’s no identifiable pattern that comes about from Holding finding it slightly easier to pass to the right back.

Really it's probably a good thing Salibas out on loan. There's no way he would look anything other than complete fucking dogshit with this joker coaching him right now. If Arteta is staying any longer I'd be happy to loan Saka ESR etc out too, only thing they'll learn is crushing defeats, ruined confidence and how to not show your frustration when a team mate fucks up a three yard pass
