Just came across an interesting piece of fact, Luis Enrique has not called up Koke for a single match squad since he took over the Spanish NT in 2018.
It looks like Saul is going in a similar direction with no call ups last 9 (or 10?) international round of fixtures.
Apparently Enrique has made it clear that the duo don't fit into his scheme of things stylistically and surprisingly has not received much backlash from the media.
