Everyone by now surely knows what this guy's about? Speed, skill, athleticism, great movement, great finishing, superb left foot. Would be a phenomenal signing.

He's been linked with Bayern, PSG, Inter, Liverpool and United all summer, but has said he wanted time to think over things and has obviously been away at the AFCON.

Bayern amd Liverpool have distanced themselves from him, but lots believe it's just a tactic to put others off, especially in Liverpool's case.

That's my thinking too.
The club had to react to the body blows of the Zaha, Saliba and Kos affairs.
This bid, if true, would be them realising then premium cost a Europa club has to pay for a CL-level player.
