Honestly, there were things to be annoyed about yesterday but this simply isn't worth it.

Don Pacifico it’s just the principal. We do a few things less than perfect it all adds up and then at the end of the season you realise why we haven’t won anything. It’s a mentality issue.

How much did you appreciate the fa cup win in 2014 after going 9 years without a trophy? Imagine winning the title after x amount of years. 2014 on crack.

Sicario2 nah...I'm fairly confident there will be clips out there from the last three seasons of our players picking up the ball and taking it to the centre circle. I'm not convinced that this moment in isolation says anything about our mentality.

Qwiss yeh, tell me about it! Don't know if it came over on television but the block I was in in the Clock End started counting out loud every time Donnarumma took a goal kick. And that was in the first half!

Martinelli's primary issue has been consistency so the point is less can he make good outcomes and more can he repeatedly and reliably do it for us. Without doubt he looks a much better option for us off the bench when the opposition have been worn down a bit.

awooga83 -- I think it has less to do with playing tired opponents (off the bench) and more with the freedom he's given later in games. He's been an astute finisher for years....probably only bested by Trossard.

So I'm not surprised to see him take those goals well. It's what lots of us have been saying, the rigidity of having to stay/play wide has killed him as much as anything.

MistaT maybe but I still think the game state is different coming into it late and concentration becomes harder at that point of the game.

I know we have a lot of options with this seasons squad and we won’t see it but I’d be interested to see the dual centralisation of Martinelli and Saka.
