Burnwinter Takes the edge off 2 points dropped a bit. What an absolutely sublime goal. Eze's assist was DB10-worthy and Martinelli's outside of the boot chipped finish matched and exceeded it.

Really was exquisite. Funny you mention the DB10-ness of the pass, that chip was also DB10-esque. Like one of his goals when he played for Ajax after running in behind and lobbing the keeper. Even that first touch to get the ball was quality at that pace.

Yeah, because that's exactly what Haaland did last season when they equalised against a team who played with 10 men for a whole half. Such a bullshit argument. The VAR check on the supposed foul in the buildup lasted longer than any celebrations.

By the way your boy Raya was out there celebrating on the half way line with Eze. Why isn't he running back to his goal to get ready for kickoff? Eze who you say will give us a 90% chance of winning the title just went to sleep in the centre circle. What's up with that?

Man it's all a non issue. If this was before the advent of VAR I may have agreed with you but thiey finished celebrating and were waiting to restart while VAR was confirming whether the goal stood. Nothing would have changed had they rand back 10 seconds earlier without a celebration because they'd still have had to wait for the VAR check.
