Not like that back heel was the first time Gabi has pulled some unorthodox move to leave two or three defenders rolling around like the Thompson twins at a crucial moment. He's extremely effective and is a regular matchwinner, part of it is that he's highly tactically aware, and therefore knows where to make runs and where to put the ball—even with his "head down" lulz.
I'm hoping he'll get a few chances centrally this season. He's got a superb mentality that brings together confidence and humility, and we know he's got another level of finishing in him.
