week to go. NBA gonna be weird without the crowds.

NBA doesn’t need crowds. I’ve rarely seen a sport so overwhelmed by artificial nonsense. Makes Sweet Caroline at Arsenal seem irrelevant . I’ve been to 4 arenas and at none of them have the crowds seemed particularly important. On TV, maybe Indianapolis and Salt Lake crowds seem intense but rest are decorative.

There's lot more fragmented segments and crescendos in a game of basketball I feel. Much more crowd noise variations and effects during different phases.
We'll see. Thought football would be weird too but got used to it.

NBA was back last night. Clippers v Lakers was pleasantly competitive. Lebron and AD came away with a narrow win. Lebron looked old and close to busted. Looks very rusty, but got the game winning bucket and defended the Clippers’ last possession pretty well. AD is just scarily good. Dominated every match up he was up against and kept the Lakers in it at key moments in the game.

If they meet in the finals with both teams at full strength, I’d give the edge to the Clippers.

Luka Doncic is crazy good. Seems to play at a snail's pace at times, but still blows by defenders with ease. Does pretty much whatever he wants on the court.

The east is looking like a runaway for the Bucks. I was worried about my Celts who were in great form prior to lockdown and ended up getting handled by Milwaukee at the restart. Everyone has found rhythm bow and anything is possible.

Really grateful for the NBA to come in to play during the PL break 🙂

He will be the league MVP in short order. I think they’re a piece or two away from a championship. He’s that good.

Tonight’s games are all very important in the race for the 8th spot in the West.

Mostly looking forward to the Dame Lillard show v Doncic though. Should be good fun if Mavs field a full strength team
