Brazil were unimpressive yesterday and Argentina are not that much better.
Their midfield is really poor.
I fancy Colombia to win this.
Copa América Brazil 2019
colombia have the better possession but aren’t really threatening. What’s James doing? He’s like a Latin Ozil
Messi is also struggling to get in the game but i don't know what to say about Aguero and Di Maria.
This ref is amazing.
Ignoring the divers!
Cuadrado taken off as he was in danger of a second yellow after the reaction of his chopping down of Messi.
Wow, Martinez powerful run and shot!! 1-0 Colombia.
Great goal!
another great team goal by Colombia. Surprised that Duvan Zapata doesn't start for them.
Game over
Argentina awful again, to a man
Ospina made a couple fantastic saves, actually.
It's incredible how spineless the Argentinian NT is with so many great individual players. Let's see if they get their act together.
I don't know what has happened to Argentinian football but the lack of ball control was incredible.
Midfield put in a zero-level performance and the defence played like 4 Mustafis.
The team played park football (no system, no midfield, nothing).
Messi wasn't great and the only time he was able to do anything were the few moments he dropped deep.
That, however, exposed how pathetic the midfield was as they consistently messed up his give and goes.
Upfront, Di Maria was beyond anonymous and Aguero was poor to the extreme so much so that they were subbed off for nobodies.
Ospina shot stopping is top notch as usual, especially for the South American style game.
Argies are so awful.
I have little sympathy for Argentina. Apart from 2014 World Cup all we hear are excuses for Argentina. The Colombia team had Cuadrado, some sunbathers like their number 10, Ospina and some unknowns. This Copa is wide open, and Argentina has the manpower to win it, particularly with Neymar out. Brazil weren’t great yesterday. It’s not like they’re facing Belgium and France
I don't know why you persist with the sunbathers comments.
Argentina clearly needed one as Messi showed when he dropped deep and that's where he should've been played.
The only way Argentina were able to progress the ball was from out wide but the carthorses you seem to prefer put in poor quality crosses compared to James whose coach, Carlos Queiroz, knows how to use a number 10.

Why shouldn't he? Claudes creative name calling gives this place some character
Definitely beats reading the same depressed tripe over and over again
The irony!
Ospina last nigth; 3 or 4 times he casually parried easily savable shots straight into the danger area. Just so bad. That along with his failed karate clearance and the obligatory feigning of injury in every game he ever plays . . . He's a one off that guy. Thank goodness.
Ospina showed me nothing new last night.
What impressed me most were the defenders in front of him with Sanchez being the best player on the pitch.
Only Messi got a sniff with the nutmeg and that was quickly snuffed out.
Di Maria and Aguero as well as their replacements were totally dominated.
