Yes, the price is excessive but that is where the transfer market is headed to.

Yeah. It's like Barca throwing a similar amount on Dembele. It's not enough for them to just buy world class players anymore - they price everyone out of moves for future potential too.

Juve better than Milann in the first half, though neither has looked great. Cuadrado the stand out player with Ronaldo and Ramsey quite involved.

Correct, I would put PSG throwing a potential 170 million at Mbappe in the same bracket.

Have to imagine Barcelona would be more likely to meet Lautaro's release clause than Real. They are extremely desperate for a new striker.

Real will probably blow that hundreds of millions on Mbappe.

Kinda amazing that a 38 year old Ibra and a 35 year old Ronaldo aren't the oldest players on the pitch tonight.

Didn't watch the match but did he play well overall? Got tons of abuse again on all his social media platform from Juve fans after the game. So weird

I only watched the first half, but he was as good - if not better than - any of either teams midfielders. Was smart in build up, covered a lot of ground, and fashioned a few chances.

It's just the english speaking fans abusing him. It's a largely irrelevant group of fans. Go and see what the Italians say.

Parsalic's goal against Roma:

That's some finish. Straight off the bench, scores the winner fifteen seconds later with his first touch.

I just can't let this stand: He doesn't score with his first touch. ๐Ÿ˜‰

He's definitely no Bendtner, that's for sure.  ;D

Another one from Chelsea's on-loan army.

Don't think he has played a single minute for them and he has been on their books for 5-6 years now.

Very competitive game so far in the top of table clash between Lazio and Inter.

Inter took the lead just before half time as Young followed though after the Lazio goalie could only parry Candreva's hard shot.

Lazio have come back to lead in the second half thanks to a Immobile penalty (very soft imho) and a Milinkovic-savic goal.

Anyone know how Mhki is doing at Rome?

He has missed a lot of matches through injury.

Whenever he has played, his stats may look impressive (4 goals in 10 appearances) but his influence on games has been fleeting at best.

I feel its very unlikely that Roma will execute on that 20 million to buy option.

I see. Hope we donโ€™t recall him. We have too many youngsters way more important for us to invest time and money on. Mhki blew his chance with us already.

I am afraid we will be stuck with him unless Raul and co can convince some sucker to buy him.

I wonder if Inter might be willing to take a punt on him next season. They have enough cash to cover his wages.

They wanted to buy him for 10m. I donโ€™t know why we are holding out for 20m. Heโ€™s a carcass. Shouldโ€™ve handed him over and thanked the patron saint of football.

If he's doing it to show how ridiculous and pointless those no look passes are, then he has my respect.

That was funny cos it was so silly.

Dybala starting to find his form.....

How did both of his teammates fail to score after those setups?

They did score, but Zlatan was offside when he assisted.

Edit: That's what the guy on the news said, but it doesn't look like that from that video.

Edit 2: Probably offside on the first flick.

Zlatan is Milan's best player at 38. They are so fucked

Yeah, I just watched the extended highlights. Seems like it was a pretty dubious call.

Speaking of, Bennacer looks like he's shifting into another gear at the moment. He gets loads of praise from their fans. Really busy in the highlights today, seems to drive them on from midfield. Still mad that we missed an obvious opportunity there.

13 days later

Atalanta scored 7 goals in a Serie A game again (the game against Lecce finished 7-2 to them). Zapata hattrick.

I think it's the 3rd or 4th time they've scored 7 or more this season. They're on for 107 goals at the end of the season with their current goal average. The last time someone scored 100 was in 1951. Incredibly entertaining team.

7 goals or assists in the last 7 games for him now. If he keeps this up we might be able to sell him.

A civil war seems to be brewing at AC Milan thanks to Ivan Gazidis.

Apparently Gazidis has started negotiations with Ralf Rangnick to be the AC Milan manager and the director of recruitment/sporting director from the end of the current season, except this was done without any hints to the current incumbents - Pioli (manager) and Maldini/Boban (the director of recruitment/sporting director).

After these reports were leaked to the media, Gazidis came out to save face and gave an interview saying that all the head honchos at the club are at same page and everything is fine.

Only for Boban to come out a day later and publicly slam Gazidis and calling him a lier and other things.

Now it seems that it is only a mattter of time before Boban and Maldini are sacked and there are reports that Pioli might resign too.

Just in the right time as things were looking to have settled for Milan and results were going in the right direction.

๐Ÿ˜† Beautiful.

Imagine being the man who drives Maldini away from AC Milan. If Gazidis doesn't have a bodyguard already it might be time to get one.

It's a mess over there. Add to that uncertainty over the futures over Donnarumma and Ibrahimovic, and this could end badly for Gazidis. Things could end badly for egghead

Gazidis is a moron and should be sacked especially for his communication of this mess. However Pioli and Maldini are both seriously inept and Milan could do a lot worse than replacing both with Rangnick who whole a narcissist and overall prick is one of the brightest football minds around.

Milan are screwed financially. Berlusconi in his final years and the Chinese fraud, Li Yonghong, have left them in a hole which will take years to climb out of.

There are rumors that Donnarumma could be sold in summer to make sure that Milan do not default on their loan payments and get further penalized by UEFA.

No wonder GazidisOut is trending on twitter. Egghead is really a joke, ruining every club he goes to.
