Just look at the quality of that fast build-up by Real ending up in the crowds by Marcelo. Determined fast passing. Constant off-the-ball movement from men. Lovely

At some point, Zidane has got to try a Benzema-Jovic frontline with the same midfield. Let Valverde do more of his marauding runs.

They have problems all over, very unbalanced, but if they turn up at the Etihad I could see them winning well.

Bit sad watching this, as Mirth says above, this used to be the pinnacle, but it's levels below what it used to be.

It’s still levels higher than the swill we are swerved twice a week. Really enjoying it. High technical ability.
Vinicius is so far away from being the world beater I keep hearing he’s supposed to be. I love his bravery. Maybe I’m used to Madrid having the finished article in the first team and it’s odd to watch a (talented) kid going through growing pains

Well deserved win for Real. They played desperate and looked stronger on those 50/50's.

Barca looked like they were stuck in second gear and thought they were playing a different team today.

The see-saw at the top of liga continued this weekend.

Barcelona are back at the top with a two-point lead.

Barcelona won 1-0 vs Sociedad thanks to a very soft penalty call.

Barcelona were quite mediocre to be honest (as has been the case lately) and Messi again looked very labored and off the boil.

Real lost 2-1 at Betis tonight and looked very ho-hum. I cant understand how Zidane keeps playing a player as mediocre as Lucas Vasquez.
On the other hand, Fekir was excellent for Betis from what little I saw.
