Personally think it's extremely unlikely because

He really, really wants to succeed there, so I don't think he'll leave before potentially trying and failing at Real Madrid.
He's really popular right now, which seems to be just as important as being good at that club.
and 3. Their fans rate him extremely highly. I read on one of their forums and most seemed to think he's the biggest talent at the club. This was before Rodrygo started playing regularly so not sure how it is now, but still.

Because of all these reasons he'd probably cost more than our entire budget whatever that is and even if Real accepted I don't think he would.

He has scored 11 goals since December 14th apparently. I had no idea it was that many. And I've missed most of them since I cancelled my satellite subscription right around that time, hmpf.

I've known he was good enough for top level football since the first time I saw him play but I didn't think he'd kick into another gear so quickly in Spain. He'll probably still be behind Berg in the pecking order this summer, though. :angry:

From what I gather, Dortmund have a fairly reasonable buy back (₂₅ million) clause to get Isak back within the next season or so.

The buyback clause is subject to him accepting though, it's just between the clubs, and from what he has said about his time there I don't think he fancies a return.

He was very young on an experienced team then. Now the team is going through transition and he’s established himself as one of the top AMs in La Liga. It makes perfect sense for Madrid to recall him and sell other players with a view to making a run for Mbappé. That’s smart general management that I’m sure Odegaard can also buy into

Ah, Isak looked sweet midweek. Dortmund have a €30m buyback clause but would they even want to exercise it now that they have a new cash cow up front? His contract with Sociedad runs until 2024, but I’m not sure if the buyback runs all the way til the.

I am thinking very much about Isco, but kinda scared of buying another past it AM from Real again on high money

Hard to imagine Isak back at Dortmund unless Haaland leaves.
