Eriksen to United must be getting closer to becoming a reality for Tottenham to be in for all these 10s in Coutinho, Dybala, Bruno Fernandes and Lo Celso.

Hopefully Eriksen to United doesn't happen and they're stuck with him for the season, at the end of which his contract expires.

I think they've gotten as far as United did, i.e. Juve are willing to sell for a sum they're willing to pay. The problem is that Spurs have a way stricter wage structure than United, who thought his demands were too big. Obviously his demands may be a little less outrageous now as you'd rather go to Spurs than United, but still quite a leap I'd imagine.

My gut feeling says that if Dybala didn't want to go to United he's not going to want to go to Spurs either. They have zero weight to throw around in Italy. No reputation or recognition, and they can't cope with big wages either.

There'e no way he's going to be enthralled at the prospect of joining Tottenham. Doesn't mean he couldn't be convinced with a big offer, but he's not gagging to play with any of their players. And they're small fry on the continent.
