There is inflation within England driven by the TV deals and City/United largesse. So the logical thing to do is hop outside spread the wealth across Europe and things will normalize.
Problem is, that's exacty what all the foreign clubs are thinking. They want every penny they can get out of the rich and stupid English clubs.

Probably made up, but I really didn't expect Dybala to go to United. How can they sell their project right now? Seems to be no real strategy, "led" by an incompetent chief exec, a rubbish manager with zero pedigree, best players wanting to leave, a couple of overpriced, 2nd rate, domestic signings because that's their pull right now.
No self-respecting player with proper quality is going there any time soon. Much like Arsenal 18 months ago.
