it's a massive failure. Inter may have new cash but they and Napoli do not have the longterm financial dynamics to support buying 70m pound players. they should be bypassing teams like Lille and rearing their own Pepes. United can afford to play this rich man's game of buying the finished product due to their endless funds.

football strikes me as one of the worst managed industries operationally. it's shocking

Injuries have fucked up him big time, during his time there he is averaging around just under 26 La Liga games a season. Top clubs can't rely on their big players missing almost a third of their domestic campaign every season.

And Real are right to shake him. You can't pay a 26 game a season guy 600,000 pounds a year. We saved ourselves by not agreeing to sign Ramsey and give him him 180,000+ to play 2/3 of the season and be half fit for 1/2 of that.

Can anyone explain how the scums squad hasn't been picked apart yet? Alderweireld is available for 25m, eriksen has issued a come and get me plea, but the market seems to view them as 2nd/3rd choice options. They seem to have skated by every summer because their players aren't quite good enough to entice big clubs to make offers

Ndombele versus United. Granted it’s just a friendly but you can see his passing is quite poor. Sure he’s good at spinning off players but mark the space behind him and it’s rendered meh.

Can understand why many like him but I suspect he’ll flop

He’s not a patch on guys like Pogba, Ramsey, Yaya Toure, Gerrard, Vieira, Keane and the likes

Alderweireld option expired Thursday. Knowing how fortune favors Spurs, some idiot club will probably appear and pay 30m for him next week.

I’m really hoping that those players are starting to get a bid tired (physically and mentally) and that Ndombele will not be enough.

They can't fit him into the same team as Ronaldo. The fact that Dybala is a better and more creative player when he's in his actual position doesn't really matter when you've committed to spending ₃₀₀ million or so on Ronaldo over the next few seasons.
