that front 3 is a couple of seasons away from outright domination, and by that time hazard might have aged out a bit
Other clubs transfer thread summer 2019 edition (Official: Madrid sign Hazard)

It's okay, they got players like this coming too:
and Brahim Diaz, who I mentioned in the other thread.
Claudius wrote:All of those players had issues though. When you're Real Madrid, you need to field a frontline that is ready to contribute. Hazard, Jovic and Vinicius is very good but not great. Just think of peak Madrid with a high-performing Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema. That's the expectation when you have 2-300m pounds a year more revenue than Arsenal. Not a project.
As I said: Vinicius is raw, but it says a lot about his talent when even that was better than almost all of their stars. Even RM have limits to what they'll spend, and that's why I'm saying Vinicius isn't one I'd upgrade on. If Vinicius' last season wasn't good enough, then they need to replace Courtois, Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Modric, Kroos, Casemiro and Marcelo first. Only difference is that these guys are/will soon be on the decline, while Vinicius is only going to get better.
Speaking of Marcelo, a tier 1 source is apparently saying that Ferland Mendy is having a medical for them, but Lyon themselves deny it.

Jovic, Militao, Mendy and Hazard all pretty much signed already. What a summer it is shaping up to be for Real Madrid.
Mendy signed too? That's a shame, remember Ricky spotted him way back in the UCL group stages.
Seems like Juventus number 1 target this summer is Pogba after signing Chiesa, already made contacts. City also close to 70m deal for Rodri.

Fiorentina said that they will not let him go. But apparently the player has already agreed terms with Juve. How is that gonna work out? And how can they talk to the player if the team will not allow him to leave?

This is the sort of thing which drives fans crazy. How can the player can agree terms, when his club are adamant that he is going nowhere?

Yep, there must be some sort of mistake. I spotted him first so he's mine. I'll fax Real and let them know.
It's going to be the biggest summer for many a year because all of the biggest clubs need multiple players as part of a rebuild. All that money will find its way further and further down the football pyramid until at some point through twists and turns yet unseen it will enable Arsenal to re-sign Stephan Lichtsteiner and give Granit Xhaka the contract extension he deserves.

130 million for Eriksen?
200m.
Hopefully, Mbappé’s transfer request takes precedence and the little twit stays out.
Eriksen only has a year left.
True, but Levy is a don. If that boy moves, it will still be a blockbuster, upwards of £70m
I hope he doesn't move. Tottenham have peaked. They could do with money. Liverpool would be worse off with Coutinho than they were with him.
He phoned it in this season, you could tell his heart wasn't really in it. Spurs will do well to move him on for a fat fee. We need them to start pissing money away on inferior replacements the way we did it. If they convince the zaniolos and ndombeles to join them, they will stay in front of us

Oh yeah, 70m plus I could see for sure.
It is interesting because for me, Eriksen doesn’t dictate games, but has a knack of coming up with important goals or assists. It will be interesting to see how he gets on at Real.
Eriksen has had a sub-par season and I suspect it's because he wanted out last summer. He's a good player and if he were to fully embrace staying then he'd be a huge asset for them next season.
Still, if it bought them an Ndombele (god forbid) and a replacement for the likely departing, Alderweireld, then it'll be good business.
I don't think he will tear up any trees at Madrid if he does go though.

I hope to god, they do not get Ndombele. Frightening player, he looks like he is made for the premier league.
Scary if true
