Wrong and for you to repeat it makes you wrong twice.

If you quote Gareth Bale's after tax figure, do the same for Ozil even if it doesn't suit your agenda.
There is the small matter of tax that you seem to be ignoring.
Ozil earns 157,500 a week (after tax)
https://www.mileiq.com/en-gb/blog/2018-uk-income-tax-rates-brackets/
Bale earns 350,000 a week (after tax)

Actually it would only make me wrong once, unless I'm infinitely wrong for believing something over a certain amount of time. That and claiming that I have an agenda.. So much wrong in one post.

I don't understand the game, should I quote you now and not say anything? If you google Bale's salary again you can easily press one of the other links that give other numbers, so I wouldn't talk about an agenda if I was you.

I would still swap for Bale in a second.

Do you guys watch Madrid? Last few years, Bale has spent so much time in the treatment room or on the periphery of games. When he does turn it on, he’s a marvel. The more involved forward is actually Benzema. He’s been more of their link man all these years without the goals. Trading Ozil for Bale would be a painful exercise. We’d get some highlight reels and little else in between.

Ozil talks like a man who has not been given an ultimatum. He’s very comfortable eating at Arsenal.

Bale is a complete dickhead. I'm not one to give a toss about body language but this guy actively wants to appear that he cares more about his handicap than playing for his club, and I actually dislike Madrid.

Ozil, james, bale, Alexis. All expensive players that shouldn't be as washed up as they are

If sane goes to bayern, i reckon coman might become available. Any takers?

Coman is a great player but he is always injured. Same ankle injury over and over again

It often got glossed over by the odd wonder goal and bursting run but he used to have a load of games for Spurs where he was barely involved over the 90 and that hasn't changed at Madrid.

Alexis gave years of good service to us, Barcelona and Chile before he got washed up. Bale is a cripple and a bitch, and James + Özil have no balls

This rumour has had the ring of truth to it since it first surfaced weeks ago.

He mustve fallen out with pep over playing time. It's mad to let him go, even for city

Robben and Ribery are leaving. They don't need to sell Coman.

Benfica have made it clear that they will only sell Felix if someone pays the full 120m Euro release clause, and not a Euro less. The market for top tier talent is so stretched. It resembles the market for corporate talent. Messy. I wonder what Mbappe would go for if he really pushed this summer.

He was left out of the German squad last summer too, not likley to get into for next summer sitting on Citys bench, makes perfect sense to go to Bayern for him.

City also need to address central midfield and central defense. They have a wealth of attacking options. They can afford this move, especially if it brings in a ridiculous fee like what’s being quoted. Maybe it puts them back in the De Ligt race.

United pushing hard for de ligt. They've put up much more money than barca apparently

City or Barcelona need to up their game, I absolutely don't want this guy at United.

The Pogba transfer showed everyone that United's inverted midas touch can turn even gold into shit. The only person I feel bad for if they pull this off is De Ligt.

It always seemed an absurd rumour. Why would he choose United? It looks like they've been played by De Ligt's people to bend Barca to their will. United no doubt coming out to deny the rumour to calm down the fans that had started to get quite excited.

Sky sports news is not a very credible source although I hope they are right about this one.

Balague, for what it's worth, also says United were never in the running. He says it's between Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern. With the latter two offering more money.

Lille are looking to Dodi Lukebakio to replace Pepe, should we just nab Dodi instead for much less than what Pepe will go for.

Banter club.

No. If we can get our hands on Pepe, let’s do that. Honestly, if we can get our hands on Pepeand then a Konate-level centre back, then this is a superb summer. We are free to promote some youngsters and look for some journeymen

jerome boateng is for sale according to bayern

Still comes back to IF we secure CL for next season or not.
If we do we can go after the likes of Pepe & Konate types, if not then we look to their replacements.

Either Man Utd have made a big offer but also know the player probably won't join them or they know the agent is using them to drive the players wages and his agent fees up.

raiola has fleeced man united on a few occasions. he knows how to use them to get the best fees for his players

We also got fleeced by him.

Did nothing at utd for 18 months but got mkhi a raise here.

Wouldn’t mind Fekir, in theory, he could cause havoc playing behind Aubameyang and Lacazette. He would actually shoot when presented with a chance.

The issue is, what formation are we going to play predominantly?

If 4-2-3-1 then fine. If it is 4-3-3 then no, especially as we lack wingers as it is.

Fekir is as much out of our price range as anyone if we don't secure CL for next season. Even then he's going to cost over 50m = this is Lyon and Aulas we are talking about.

Don’t want Fekir - he’s last seasons goods

I've never been impressed by him either. Good numbers and underwhelming play just like a lot of Ligue 1 guys. You just know he's going to do a knee again within the next two years too.

I think Fekir is a quality player but I just don't see where he fits for us, at his price range seems like too much of a luxury for us this summer.

I think he works as a replacement for either / both Ozil & Mkhi as an AMC either in the lone #10 role in the 4231 or 5212/3412, or even as part of a 2 AMs in the 3421.  IIRC he also worked well with Lacazette, but he's not 'needed' if we don't shift at least one player from the attack, and even then we could probably sign Ziyech and another for what we'd be looking to pay for Fekir.

Fekir is a good player. There are two big variables with him. That knee and Ozil. So wouldn't waste energy.

Personally I'd take Pepe for the Fekir type fee.

Not sure but think we could've had a chance at Hazard and Brandt if sven was here.

Hazard obviously not as good as his immensely talented brother but a very capable winger at a cheaper reported price than Fraser.
