Auba was quality, he even performed a few stepovers out on the left and his passing/link-up was crisp. Laca had a poor game and I was dying for Nketiah to come on for him. His electricity would have really lifted our attack which was flagging badly. Having said that, Iwobi and Mkhi did quite well and injected a bit of vitality into proceedings.
I thought Xhaka was terrible. He gave the ball away a lot and my God I wish we didn't have so many one-footed midfielders.
I genuinely think one of our biggest problems with regards to keeping possession and building attacks is the fact we have so many players who are petrified of using their weaker foot, thus limiting their angles tremendously.
The less said about Mustafi the better.
Rennes were utter scum.
