He's right though, as we've seen Kane is willing to rob teammates of goals by swearing on his kids lives. What a winner.
Auba 2019/2020 v Rvp 2011/2012 v Sanchez 2015/2016
Who is better?
as much as it pains me, i'd say RVP 11/12 edges it. he had that spark of individual ability that allowed him to create his own shot, which is probably the main that separates them.
Yeah definitely RvP.
I'd take current Auba. I think he's pretty much on the same level right now as Robin was at his peak that season, but van Persie played for a team that created a lot more chances.
slight digression, but has he scored a header for us yet? it's strange, he seemed so sharp in the air for bvb
Not a single header for us! I think improved variety of balls from wide with Tierney and Bellerin will help. You’re absolutely right though. At Dortmund, life was much easier. He was probably easily doing 5-8 headers a season
I'd take Auba too. The old team was built around Van Persie. This lot are dsyfunctional at times and he's doing it inspire of the team (at times) rather than because of it.
RvP and as good as Auba is I’d say it would be comfortably him. He didn’t have Auba’s pace and anticipation but most other areas he was better than him imo.

He's a good header of the ball but pretty poor in the air actually. Most of his headed goals for Dortmund were when he had space to run into which doesn't happen as often for us, he never was the type of forward to barge through a centre half and get his noggin on it

It was similar pattern to his one touch kicked goals at Dortmund. We've forced him to become a much more adventurous player at Arsenal. Has to cut, clean and cook his dinner more often than he did in Germany
Where's Arry Kane?
If we signed Vardy that summer it would all have been so different. We would probably not sign Auba and Laca.

Are you some kind of hobbyist butcher, Claud?
As good as Auba is no football fan in their right mind would choose him over Augero or Kane (as much as I hate to say it).
Don’t want to sound like a broken record but games like Monday night, Auba has to dominate and make a difference.

What exactly would you pick Kane for over Aubameyang? Breathing in all the air in the vicinity with his perennially open mouth?
11/12 RvP > Aguero > Auba > Mouthbreather.

He doesn't 'hate to say it' either. Loves saying it to anyone who will listen.
