It usually takes a few big deals by 1 or 2 clubs to get the January transfer merry go round going. That didn’t really happen. I wonder to what extent British clubs are nervous about existing and future Euro based obligations given this Brexit uncertainty. If May and her cabinet continue to show even less progress in any direction than expected, this might have consequences on the currency and, therefore, on Euro-denominated costs. For us, that might be any outstanding portions of the Aubameyang, Lacazette, and Torreira transfers. But I do suspect this uncertainty hit the whole Sky Sports phenomenon
