At this point they've uncovered nothing other than pockets of human/admin errors that are part and parcel of elections, certainly no systemic issues that could change the outcome. At minimum its a grift for trump to get more donations from his supporters, but if he'd been able to strong-arm officials in swing states he would happily go for the steal the GOP likely would've backed him. Theyre slowly starting to pull back from him, but until the electoral college actually installs biden they'll stay quiet for fear of their political futures

I’m wondering. A lot of the people opposing are young and would seem to have designs on running / acquiring the Trump base. (Trump is too old to do this shit again and will be too occupied with the law). And the foolish American media rewards rabble-rousers. I think politicians will see value in extending the presidential race to 4 years to heighten their profiles.

Anyone who thinks this victory allows Democrats to pass a bunch of bills unfettered is in denial. Neither Trump nor Obama got all their major proposals through when they controlled everything, because of the Liebermans and Mansions of thus world. Each party is a big tent, and they need to manage their own coalition before even dealing with the opposition

Yeah good point C. One could hope the consistent mobilization and campaigning from the likes of AOC and Bernie in the last four years has created a rallying cry within in the party that if not already prevailing, will be amplified.

As for today being a marker for 2024 race, your guess is as good as mine. Maybe the sycophants will pretend really hard they haven't conceded the battle for 2020, when really they're hoping the chaos being organized on the streets and chambers provides a fresh first cornerstone to spin propaganda leading up 2022 midterms. Personally think Cruz, Rubio, Pompeo, Cotton, Haley, Trump's flock began their positioning a while back.

Yeah. It’s going to be a tough 2 years for Joe. The one big advantage will be leadership of committees and the ability to dictate what is brought to the floor, but votes will still be messy.

That should get decent bipartisan support. Mitch will look like a fool as it passes. But a lot of the big stuff on climate change etc will be a fight.

I think you'll see minor concessions, some targets that never really go anywhere or fall insanely short. The same sort of stuff you see 90% of Western nations to be fair.
