I thought Sydney Powell was a credible lawyer. Then I heard her speak, she's a QAnon conspiracist - plain and simple.

I love that Trump has merged the crazies with mainstream Republicanism. The more they try to distance themselves from the crazies the more the Trumpist believe they are complicit in the fraud and paid off by George Soros and the deep state. It's beautiful that the GOP has done this to themselves.

Or a few male religious radicals are closing down abortion clinics everywhere when the easier thing would be their own families to choose not to use ungodly health services. My comment was in response to claudes post about obama being pro M4A, which was never evidenced since his entry to the senate. No argument with what you've said there

I seen one conspiracy today that Venezuela interfered with the election to help Biden win. I'd say Venezuela are terrified of a Biden administration that might be competent at coups.

So Obama is fundamentally an M4A guy. Read up on his early views, even before he got to Senate. He clearly was for M4A. In the Obamacare process I actually don’t think he specifically introduced the Bill as M4A but rather explored it in the discovery phase (with other options) and it was shot down by Democrats in anticipation of Republican hell. And then they kept get chipped away until they settled on government administering exchanges as the Republican concession on government involvement. So you’re right on that specific process

Obama had no follow through on anything. His entire presidency was one big compromise to the right. Medicare for all turned into forcing everyone to buy insurance, Guantanamo remained open, the number of troops just kept increasing in Afghanistan and Iraq, genocides in Yemen and Libya happened, bombs were flying like they hadn't done since the Vietnam war, the biggest mass deportations in US history were undertaken and border kids were put in cages.

Democrats didn't care back then because the optics of his presidency were much better than the actual policies. Just look at him today, he's the Netflix president. American liberals always make fun of republicans for voting for the guy they would like to have a beer with, but they themselves would love nothing more than to share a Spotify playlist or a book club with Obama.

There's a case to be made for both options in response to trumps fuckery - don't engage or validate with a response at all and trust the process to play itself out, or call it an unamerican coup attempt so that it becomes a national talking point. At the moment trumps behaviour has been covered as just a few flubbed lawsuits, its not something at the forefront of the media, but calling it out and pressuring the GOP over their silence could yield so many attack vectors for the next election cycle

Fortunately, he’s as incompetent at political administration as he is at running businesses. It’s charisma that carried him in both fields. If a more capable, more strategic individual was carrying out this operation, the country would be in trouble.

Ultimately Trump proceeded as well as he did because he had the likes of Fox and Breitbart behind him. And in the aftermath he'll probably wind up aligned with some alternative far right media platform that tries to monetise the substantial remnant of "Trumpism" …

The election fraud narrative is now laced with Orbán style antisemitism, they're implying it's all a "Soros conspiracy" …

michigan certified, and trump finally tells his GSA crony to commence the transition to the biden administration. there was an article a few days ago where a few big wall street firms like goldman, blackrock etc basically told team trump to cut the malarkey or GOP donations would be on the line. id wager that had also had something to do with him finally saying uncle
