What do the next 30 days even look like. This guy wouldn’t take advice from senior republicans on how to run the election campaign. He’s clearly not listening to any of them if even someone as stubborn as Santorum disagrees with him. He will refuse to give up this presidency even after Biden is announced the winner this week. We will not see the traditional concession speech.

It's just classic narcissism. Like, literally, as a diagnosis. He can't face anything that reflects badly on him. His problem is he completely lacks self control. Otherwise, he had some interesting characteristics that could’ve made him a compelling leader. His outbursts from this week will likely force Republican leadership to caucus to create roadblocks for outsiders who might hijack the party in future. While it would be hard to return to 60s style closed selection processes, I’m sure they’ll find levers to favor insiders.

they know it can't happen, but still say it to play up to trump's deranged base that they'll need to win future elections. the fact that they are mentally unstable is the reason you can't talk so reckless.
