The population of these states is concentrated in the metros and he's taking counties of these cities 70:30 because of the black vote. He'd better deliver on the black issues he spoke so passionately about during the campaign.
He needs 63% of the outstanding _50k votes to win. It's doable.

If what they're saying about the outstanding ballots in PA is true, then that will emphatically slam the door on trump. Getting GA and AZ would just end up being the cherries on top

It looks like this election will go as expected more more or less on the presidential side (bar Florida which was a stretch anyway).
Pre-election analysts said be prepared for a long count. So I was ready to wait all week for an outcome. What I was not prepared for was the meandering outlook due to the different rules that each state applies for the order in which they count election day, mail-in and early ballots.

So much for all this talk of reforming the Supreme Court, protecting and expanding Obamacare, etc. Even just basic things like confirming a cabinet will feel like pulling teeth

The spooky thing is that its all meat and drink for his base, which clearly hasnt shrunk. Most of these lawsuits and bombast over the mail votes is part of the overall strategy to erode belief in whats left of the democratic process. And this is the base that the GOP will have to cater to in order to maintain power. Good luck selling another romney type to them. Even fox news is in crosshairs now. apparently liberal agents have infiltrated fox news since the disney buyout despite fox news actually not even being part of that deal at all

Was speaking to a supplier of ours over in the states, and she mentioned that it's not just the whackjobs or his most die hard fans, almost every other Republican voter you come across is parroting these claims. The ignorance of these people, whether wilful or not, is actually mad and almost cult like.

Agreed, he's easily the most "popular" GOP presidential candidate amongst these voters since Reagan? Didn't see many people going crazy like this for Baby Bush, Mccain, or Romney 😆

Meanwhile, the Democrats are losing seats in the House and it looks like Georgia will be the battleground for the control of the Senate... :hmm:

On the Senate issue, it would be really good to get Elizabeth Warren in as AG to run the FTC/DOJ cases against Facebook/Google and to handle other legal issues. Or at Treasury to deal with bank regulation, rebalancing the budget etc. But turtle face will throw his toys. They need to find a way to squeeze him and make him accept progressive nominations.

Yeah I'm hopeful Warren has a role in the next government, she's a smart cookie and vocal. The greater population needs to hear the voice of intelligence again, not a cabinet of yes men who are no where to be found.

The shot callers in the biden camp aren't putting warren in any position of real influence.

The one problem is this disastrous Senate outcome probably means Warren needs to stay as a senator. It she leaves, I think the Republican governor has the right to replace.

Yes, this is what I was alluding to originally.

It was so arbitrarily applied it doesn't take a lot of imagination to see how they could use these tools against democracy in different circumstances.

Those of us in the global south have seen time and time again how quickly 'progressive' media turn their backs to the people when their own economic or cultural interests are threatened.
