It's not about whether Hunter's stuff is relevant, but whether it would have received more attention under normal circumstances.
I personally don't care for Hunter's drug/sex videos, but every time something like it has popped up on the other side of the aisle CNN and other msm have been all over it. This time they stopped themselves from reporting on any of it.
Look at the CNN coverage of nothingness about Melania when her nude photos emerged and cast doubt on her migratory status when she moved to the US:
At any rate, I definitely think that under normal circumstances they would have at least looked into stuff like the recording where Hunter says he does business with the head of Chinese intelligence, etc. or even done more reporting on the unprecedented censorship efforts from Twitter and Facebook the story elicited. There was zero initiative to investigate, verify, or report on any of it.
I'm as delighted as anyone that Joe is going to win, but media behaved atypically to ensure nothing came in the way.
