the minute trump started crying about pennyslvania absentee votes and how the counting should stop was when his people informed him that there isn't any in-person votes left for him and his lead will be washed away when those absentees are counted.

Yeah, I think it's done - Biden's going to win Michigan, Nevada and Wisconsin which gets him to 270. Not so much a blue wave as a blue splutter but that's what you get when you bring a 78 year old.

yes he can do it without PA. without PA it's 271 to 267. wouldn't be a surprise if he wins PA and GA at this point though. dems have been dominating the mail in vote and they could have up to 90% of the remaining 1.4m in PA.

If Biden needed PA and won it Trump would have launched a legal appeal. Now I don't see that happening.

I don't know but I think it's reasonable to say that Biden as a unity candidate is winning the battle but will lose the war and if Biden is the best answer the Democrats could come up with then I don't really see the trajectory that the US is on changing very much over the next decade.

I feel for Democrats. Nothing compels Republicans to change the way they operate. The electoral college protects them. And they are able to compete for the Senate with a minority of the population. Using those two, they can then control the Supreme Court. Minority rule. They will run with this until Democrats figure out a hack. It works great for them because the solutions force Democrats right and there is no foreseeable way to end it.

Think Biden will win this now, but the legal proceedings could take months. This could be another legal fight like the Bush v. Gore thing.

That's because the Senate isn't elected by the people. The Senate (and the President) is elected by the states.
