The prospect makes me ill. I find international football difficult enough to enjoy as it is.

How can anyone support any international team (or any team, I suppose), and take it seriously when their players talk about preferring to play for one of your traditional rivals?
The England cricket and rugby teams are full of players who don't belong. Har har.
Guy applies for a job at Company X: "Well, yeah I suppose I'd like to work somewhere, why not here? I mean I'd prefer to work at Company Y of course, but they probably won't have me because of that incident in the strip club, and frankly they're more interested in employees who are less old and shit .... so, whaddayasay?"
We have no choice when it comes to Robbie Keane, unfortunately he has a passport, but surely we could refuse Pennant?
Pennant should just move to the Middle East and play for one of those teams. He could captain Qatar in 2022.
Speaking of Pennant, how did it all go wrong from here?
(Watch til the end for one of the best Arsenal goals you'll ever see)
haha this has cheered me up
Every crap English player seems to be discover that they're 1/8th Irish at some point in their career.
... Tony Cascarino, who qualified through his Mam's Irish father. Only his Mam was adopted.
Ah bejaysus tis Jamie bhoy now is it?
Its reckoned that 75 million people world wide are of Irish decent......
hell, even i have irish in me somewhere.. (at least according to my father)
