I'm not bothered by Americans calling it football.
That is it's name there although i do prefer them to make it clear by saying American Football just like you guys do with Aussie-Rules football.

e: I just thought with the large American representation on this forum, it was strange that their number one sport was hidden in "other" especially now that the Superbowl is close.

The difference for me being that the 'foot' actually contacting the 'ball' in gridiron is a very minor part of the game, whereas at least in Aussie Rules it's the main part of the game. Just makes no sense for it to be called football.

Refs were bad overall for both sides.

That missed DPI call was awful, but they missed that facemask penalty on Goff when he ran to try to score on 2nd and goal and when it was 23-20 Saints. It would've been closer to the goal line and a first down if they called that.

I guess the last missed call is always gonna look the worst, and Sean Payton didn't cover himself in glory with his playcalling on that drive either. But the Saints fans have to be livid. The DPI was so blatant, and if called they have three downs to kneel down or try to run it in for six, and then kick a FG with four seconds left. It's game over.
