he can go now. firmly in the he can go camp.
im not going to waste a lot of words on it anymore, and im sure he'll be here for a while, so its pointless. but he has not developed any kind of system or identity for this team. we're not a counterattacking team, we're not a possession team, we're not a stellar defensive team. we're just an average, boring team with a lot of players making too much money for the contribution they give. he can argue that most of these players arent his, fine. but we're in the europa league final and before this match we didnt know how we'd line up or how we'd play, and thats after an entire season. his indecision in how to set up the team, the constant changing of formations, probably hasnt helped our mediocre players perform above their typical level. we dont have a lot of mental toughness, we dont have a lot of individual quality.
this club is in a bad place right now. a really bad place. and without big financial investment and bold decisions (getting rid of ozil), i suspect its not going to get any better any time soon
