Me too.
It's us, United and Chelsea for that 4th spot. And the way our game is looking and the way we defend, both United and Chelsea have a better chance of making it. So any help would have been great...both Perisic and Carasco would have given us more end product then Iwobi or Mhiki...

If you put it that way, I agree. I would have went for a right back and a center back...but given the opportunity to sign, even for 6 months one of Perisic or Carasco, I would have taken it. It could make the diff between CL or EL. It just goes to show how stupid the people that run the club are. Now it's the time to invest, top 4 is there for the taking, get4 players in and it might get us CL, and a lot of money after....

Him, Ziyech and a CB would be a very good summer, but we'd have to win EL to afford them.

If we are indeed looking to “be smarter than the market”, we are likely to be signing more Torreira/Guendouzi’s than Ziyech’s/Carrascos.

Looking forward to an especially bleak summer if we don’t win the Europah!

two weeks ago Carrasco expressed his desire to play in the premier league, the Belgian publication says he was referring to #AFC. That said, Inter and AC Milan are among clubs interested in the player.

I'm over Carrasco. He made some sense when we needed someone in Jan to help us get over the line for CL but I'm not really into the idea of spending big on someone as flakey as him.

Without CL I reckon we're gonna have to take a chance on a couple skilled players who've made some bad career moves. If we can get him for around €20 million I'd be over the moon. I can't do another season without people in the team who know how to dribble. Let's hope the Super League hasn't blunted him!

Agreed, the best dribbler in our squad is Iwobi which shows you how bad things are!

There's a reason we've not immediately moved for Fraser at season's end when he's available and Premier League proven in a position we are surely trying to strengthen. It seems logical to suggest that we are working our way down a list of, as the club see it, bigger and better players.

I really hope Carrasco isn't on that list at all. I didn't want him in January and I don't want him now.

The guy works for RMC Sport. A lot of noise today from his camp. Wonder if there is something in this or his agent just creating some buzz

This - seen a recent report to indicate that his potential fee is thought to be less than Fraser, & would explain other reports regarding our 'urgent' interest.
