I did. Ozil isn't indispensable like his fans keep saying. Especially since he's busy playing videogames and we did fine without him.

I'm not exactly a Doozy fan but he was best out of a poor bunch. Even Torreira wasn't brilliant. I'd have given it to Xhaka had he not consistently farted his brains out.

Also needs more emphasis on how shit the refs were, breathtaking stuff. Several offside calls which interrupted clearcut chances, Mustafi penalty, probably a couple of reds and worst of all the Laca goal, imagine being this shit at your job while you're being televised in 200+ countries

His pass to auba was probably the only moment of real creativity in the entire game. Apart from that he was a passenger

Anyway we shouldn't be playing 3 at the back, especially if our RCB and LCB isn't comfortable to run with the ball. Without Holding the LCB is a huge drop off and affects our fluidity passing through the first lines

yeah i think that experiment has to end now. mustafi did his hamstring it looked like, thats a month out. holding done for the season. sokratis/kos looks like our only realistic pairing right now.

Very good win given the circumstances and the available players.
Incredible goal. Credit to our MVP Torreira. May he never taste defeat in an Arsenal jersey. And great work by Aubameyang and Guendouzi.
A few take-aways

I’m not really bothered by the Aubemayang / Lacazette misses. They are productive. Aubeyamng, for example, has about 22 goals and 7 assists in 34 games.
The problem is they don’t get enough service to create even more. Guendouzi at 10 is not it. And it’s not Mkhi / Iwobi either. I’m also over the Ozil situation. This whole area needs a renovation.
Torreira / Xhaka midfield works. It just needs AMs
Watch our team nervously passing to Cech against City and Chelsea. And watch the interplay with Leno today. 3 months. Massive difference
Last one: respek on Emery’s name. This guy does whatever it takes to win from game to game given what he has. It may not always look like the Spurs or Liverpool games, but it’s kept us in the running

It’s enough to get us to 3rd.
We need a better talent than Xhaka to reliably win us the league. However, the bigger cracks right now are at Centre back, left back, and 2AMs before we even get to Xhaka.
