We know Kola isn't the best defender and his error cost us but I thought he was excellent going forward yet again, the timing of his runs is great and if either Aubameyang or Mkhitaryan finish from his passes, he would have delivered where his strengths lie. Not condoning his error but I don't think he was horrendous.

I actually didn't think we were bad. I've seen us play far more cowardly, garbage football barely stringing two passes together at the Toilet.

I'm livid that surprised duck looking cunt Lingard scored that horrendous goal but I knew he would at some point.

Pissed off the win on Sunday hasn't done a whole lot of good considering tonight but at least Chelsea lost and we got this shitfest of a fixture out of the way.

Loads of positives, especially the leadership, fight and fitness levels in this team.

Lacking quality in attack (Iwobi) and still retardisms occur at the back but give Emery the players he needs and he will take this team far.

This - IMO Guendouzi slows our transition as he wants to drive forward on the ball at feet.
Also think that then forces Torreira to play the deeper role which is not what he does with Xhaka.

Mustafi needs to go. Shit player. I can live with Kolasinac and his defensive lapses from time to time. He is very good going forward. Unlike Bellerin who seems like he has forgotten how to run.

I really like him going forward and I think you limit your exposure to his dumbness as a wingback, but you can’t really have a wing back in the side who can’t play full back.

Thought Douzi has a good game myself, especially for a 19 yr old. He’s not Xhaka but he did a job.

Mhki didn't make us better at all. He was poor but so we're Ramsey and Iwobi so it's hard to criticise him too much. Midfield wasn't helping them much.

As annoying as some of the mistakes were its very hard to got to OT and have so much bad luck and get a result. Mariner was shit and we suffered a lot of injuries. It's tough when Emery can't make the subs he wants.

Is it correct that the referee completely missed Fellaini assaulting our player? So he can be dealt with by a panel, if it so cares to?

We need Xhaka to deal with his disciplinary issues. He ties us together. He and Torreira are the perfect midfield. I know folks. There is a question of whether this game would have been too big for ESR in a 20 or 30 minute cameo. It was quite intense and rough, but our team really needed someone who could stitch things together
