But I dont know why he put Hurtig on for Blackstenius. She is like playing with a handicap. Plus he left us with 1 player who can reliably score - Maanum. Possibly McCabe and the cbs off a set piece.

He also should have left Beattie up front when we got the equaliser and gone for the win but can understand why he didn't. Nothing was sticking up top with Maanum and Hurtig.

Ahh okk that makes sense then because she was our biggest threat upfront. We really are down to the bare bones. Hopefully we can get into Champions League again next season.

Feel for Wubben Moy? Yeah she was good all game, she's quite good on the ball but when you are tired physically and mentally these things can happen. And no guarantee we would have won on pens anyway so hope she doesn't beat herself up too much.

Always feel that we lack speed as a team for the women's. Nobody is rapid unlike say for example that Icelandic girl on the left for wolfs

Jonsdottir. Silky technique and pace, albeit some poor end product. Pretty lass.

Pace is not our style with the women's team, more the relentless pressing. We got legs in defence though.

Not Arsenal Women related but added to Mead and Williamson, Fran Kirby is now also out of the World Cup with a knee injury. Lucy Bronze has just had a knee surgery (prognosis unknown as far as I can see) and I think Bright is also out with a knee injury. England would have been one of the favourites but are going to be without half their first choice team.

Seems a crazy amount of knee injuries in the women's game. Arsenal alone have their 3 best players out with ACL injuries at the same time.

Yet another injury, this time Walti with a possible broken leg from a reckless studs up lunge, happening on the edge of her own penalty area of all places. Another Arsenal player (and international captain) possibly out of the World Cup.

Our women have been knocked out the CL on pens. From the semis this year to getting knocked out in the qualifiers in our first tie is gutting. The players must be devastated.

Big Willie was the second game. But they were beaten by a second rate team that finished well behind Lyon and PSG last season. Some questions in the game, like why didn’t Jonas bring on Alessia etc.

Probably a case of not being fully match fit/prepared tactically given (a) most of our squad are only just back from the World Cup/injuries and (b) we've bought a fair few new players in key positions.

Plus the format for qualification is a bit intense so early in the season. Seems to be a new qualification round every couple of days.

Yes, we should still have won but some mitigating factors would have made it a bit more complicated. Need to win the league this season though.

i don't like the coach. he's been on my "skeptical of" list ever since they fucked up a title by losing to a team that only won one game all season and was relegated.

Meatwad I am also very suspicious, but I don't really know. I've also been a bit skeptical of the recruitment, seems haphazard.

The recruitment point is fair but that in itself is something Jonas has complained about a few times.

Don Pacifico we were doing more or less the same before he came in. He didn't bring us up another level.
