They just said Barca have won their last 46 home matches. Fucking hell 😆
Lyon won five CLs in a row. They also won fourteen consecutive league titles in which they lost five matches altogether, from summer 2006 until end of last year. If I were supporting them I could've finished school, gone and finished uni, gone to live abroad half a year and come back, had several jobs, full blown relationships start and end basically live half a life and still have witnessed fewer losses than we had under Arteta just last November and December.
Women's football has been like this for ages, one or two teams dominating everyone else by a ludicrous margin. Now it's Barcelona, before it was Lyon (still partially is), before them Wolfsburg and Turbine Potsdam - will take a lot more money, time and grassroots work for there to be some sort of competitive level across the board in the top flight. Good thing there's competition in France now, Lyon won every match last season bar a draw at home and a loss away to PSG and somehow finished 2nd 😆
