It is, it's done. will win it tomorrow. It's gonna be nice to have a new team win it.

Mr. Woj has just tweeted out that KD will play today, should be a fun game.
Wonder if he'll be about 70% at least. If he is, well. ..it was fun while it lasted.
Durant plays. Durant down.
Most likely Series over
oooooh if that's the achilles...
You don’t walk off with a snapped Achilles. Ask Koscielny.
yea, didn't see that at first
Good first half by GS despite KD retreating.

Just a hunch given the versatility of Raptors and the demands of GS reaching so many consecutive finals and needing to stay hungry.
Perhaps the legs and minds were clearer and fresher when GS came back 3-1 against OKC in 15/16 playoffs. Klay dropped 40 in the pivotal Game 5, then 40 from KD and Steph in the subsequent two games to claim the series. Don't see it happening tonight.
by the way I think its quite silly that the series narrative became reliant on KD. GS have four allstars? two of the best shooters ever? like, yeah.
Doesn't look pretty at all. He just left the building in a walking boot and crutches.
i hope it's not his achilles.
kawhi has just taken over this game. wow.
That was Kobe/Jordan esque.
Warriors doing their clutch chucking again...
boogie is brutal. looks completely gassed
toronto must have thought golden state was going to foul there since they had 1 to give. nice defense
what an anticlimax
Awesome. Game on. I want to see a game 7
Wild to see Klay Thompson match Leonard’s previous heroics. Great game!
Lowry was awful at the final 2 minutes. That late timeout was also stupid considering Leonard was dominant and the Warriors were on the ropes.
This is definitely going 7. Thought kawhi was going to bury them then and there, but gsw showed what a great team they are to rally back
Yea, that timeout made no sense. So annoying.
well at least there wont be a durant mystery hanging over the last 2 games, hes pretty clearly done now
They’re confirming it’s an Achilles injury...
dis gon be good.
that is fucking awful
he probably knew he was risking a lot to try and play when he obviously wasnt ready
There's footage of his calf/achilles imploding on that drive. Definitely a longterm injury

That was so insane at the time i thought nurse knew something we didn't. Kawhi was cooking them and he actually just handed the momentum back to the dubs. Bizzare
I'll have the dubs major props if they dig this series out

A lot of talk about that.
Draymond Green to @notthefakeSVP on whether Toronto's late timeout gave the Warriors an energy boost: "Absolutely. They had got it going there. We took [their] timeout. We were able to gather ourselves, draw up a play. I think that timeout allowed us to settle in."
Did Nurse call it? Look at this video, it looks like Kawhi is signaling for Lowry to call it
but then Kawhi said: "At that time I felt that he probably wanted to get us some rest," Leonard said. "You never know. I mean, if we would have won the game, we wouldn't be talking about it."
So don't really know. Anyways, with KD out, it's done.
Nick nurse said he called it in the post game iv. Cos he wanted them to rest before the final push. It looked bizarre whoever called for it. In every sport, from every junior level, these sort of breaks are taken by the opposition teams for gamesmanship to stop momentum.
Great piece. Thanks
Loved reading that. Thanks, C.
it makes me so happy that the celtics built their entire project around acquiring assets to trade for AD, and AD was like "nah"
really? the Celtics didn't just assemble a talented young core? snap up 2 (previously) All Star free agents, have the ability to gamble on Kyrie? There is little debate the strategic operations at the ball club have been nothing short of excellent and with the key ingredient of being versatile of pulling in each direction (should an asset fail to land).
Unless we want every team to tank for years like Philly.
Lets see what happens.

im a sixers fan. i am happy with the sixers decision to tank and where it has gotten us, even with poor injury luck and a few missed picks.
the celtics havent won since 2008, despite making the most lopsided trade in recent nba history that gifted them massive assets. it might all still work out. but im 95% sure irving is gone. brown looks like their best young player, tatum seems to have stagnated or even regressed, and they've wasted a bunch of first round picks in the last 3 years. they still have lots of assets, but horford is about to enter his decline phase, and he might leave as well if they dont offer him the max. they might have brown, tatum and lots of picks, or AD + 1 one of those guys and very few picks.
either way, im happy. fuck the celtics.

Rich Paul, my favorite agent! ;D
Trade talks for AD are heating up now!!
come on man, i dont' want a game 7. Board man needs to go get his apples. Afraid 3rd quarter, game 6 Klay will takeover.
every feather touch is a foul. fucking nonsense.
Wow, now Klay is out for the game with that knee injury.
VANVLEET!!!
They won't get this Lowry in Toronto. They gotta get it done now or it's warriors series. Especially with Leonard playing shit
