Coudrey is the one who made up that "alleged" camera malfunction rumour as near as I can tell. It's only trending because of him. He has no sources or evidence to back that up but it's gaining steam because of his tweet.

If you don't follow the "Epstein Suicide" narrative, then why would it be such a leap of faith to believe some sort of cover up was involved. One follows from the other.

I'm not "following any narrative" and it's not a leap of faith. I was just asking why you're linking to an alt-right troll who's notorious for fabricating stuff and hasn't presented a shred of evidence for the stuff he is passing off as breaking news.

And no, it's not a hard claim to verify at all, which is why I think there's good reason to be sceptical when the rumour is presented as news from an account with the same credibility as Laura Loomer and Info Wars that offers no source. I think he worded that tweet carefully to have just the right degree of ambiguity.

And maybe if you did that, you could use those investigative skills you use to point the finger to tell us all how its just a coincidence that this happens the day after the declas, or how Epstien got his money, or how he isn't on suicide watch, or how he got off 9 years ago, or any insights on his island, or the people on his flight logs.

I'm not a journalist and I'm not based in the US, mate. I wouldn't know who to call at the police or the distict attorney's office to ask about the cameras, or if there even were cameras directly in his cell, but it's not like information gathering and verifying is a difficult or unknown process to anyone with press credentials. I'd imagine the people who up until a few hours ago were in the process of prosecuting Epstein would be way ahead on both questions relative to Internet sleuths too.

this is a unique political conspiracy theory in that both sides are convinced the other side did it. alt right people are convinced this was some kind of cover-up because bill clinton was closely linked to him, and left wing lunatics are convinced it was trump that ordered it, because he had close ties to epstein.

bottom line is, killing yourself in a federal prison/detention center like MCC is incredibly difficult. he was on suicide watch very recently (not sure its been confirmed he was on suicide watch when this happened), and because of that, he should not have had any access to any material that could be used in any way to assist in his suicide.

if the investigation is bad for trump, its obvious that barr will squash it. depends if any of the material witnesses or people who know what happened speak out of turn or leak

The thing is its pretty clear now that all sides in US politics and plenty in international politics too have ties to Epstein. It could be any of them but it doesn't really matter what "side" they were on, they're all the same anyway.

They're all the same kind of predator and they're all on the same fucking side anyway. Just because Clinton was a bit softer on black or gay people doesn't mean he was any different fundamentally. He literally dissolved Yugoslavia, he was the single biggest reason Iraq never recovered in between the wars Bush Sr and Jr brought to them and he abolished the Glass Steagall act which was one of the most important reasons the financial crisis of 2007 hit as hard as it did. If there's a difference between his presidency and that of any Republican I can't see it.

Do you think we'll see him or any other of Epstein's friends come down?

Attorney General William P. Barr issued the following statement:

“I was appalled to learn that Jeffrey Epstein was found dead early this morning from an apparent suicide while in federal custody. Mr. Epstein’s death raises serious questions that must be answered. In addition to the FBI’s investigation, I have consulted with the Inspector General who is opening an investigation into the circumstances of Mr. Epstein’s death."

How far could they get without being stopped though? If they can have Epstein killed in a maximum security prison while he's the most high profile prisoner on the planet they can stop an investigation at any stage or source they want to. And its not just Trump and the Clintons, its the Royal family, CEOs, billionaires, etc So many hugely powerful people that will never see justice because they're just too rich.
