Nah, innovation, productivity, efficiency, these things are false prophets. We don't need any of it, and decency is incompatible with capitalism.
Nobody needs accelerated wealth. It was always already there, we don't make anything, we just divide and exploit. This paradigm hasn't really existed that long, and it won't last. Important that the one to come is a better world for more people, rather than whatever demon child liberalism will unleash upon the vulnerable and systemically oppressed.
