Kolo Toure fails drug test
tut tut
That's what happens when you move up north.
Oh dear, what happened to our Kolo.
Never thought he would do that
Apparently it wasn't performance-enhancing drugs he got busted for.
Great lesson in there somewhere. It only takes City a season to corrupt even the nicest of guys.
The World Anti-Doping Agency define a specified substance as one that is "more susceptible to a credible, non-doping explanation".
Paaass the doobie to thee haand side!
Erm we're talking about recreational drugs. For a footballer to do them is daft rather than "corrupt" or what have you.
Some precedent for this type of offence.
Interesting to note that there have been 24 drug bans since Mutu and they have managed to protect the identity of the player on almost every occasion.
Maybe that's what Almunia's "injuries" and "illnesses" are - positive tests to benzos. Would explain the wandering of attention at his near post.
Hope it's just a case of of Kolo taking some pain-killers or flu medication. He's a good guy, and I would LIKE to believe that he isn't trying to cheat
Caligula, it's not a performance enhancing drug and I'd wager a guess that it's most likely something along the lines of what you said. There's this player in the scottish league I was reading about the other day who was banned for 4 weeks after testing positive but after explaining his case that the if was some kind of weight suppressant which specifically stated that it had no banned substances he was allowed to play again. Let's just hope Kolo has a valid explanation.
If only it was the other Toure, or even the likes of Tevez and Rooney. That would have been spesh.
Wenger comes to Toure's defence while Man City maintain their silence.
Hmm, sounded more likely to be something along those lines.
slimming pills are performance enhancing
He should be banned just for being so stupid as to think that diet pills actually work.
there speaks a man of experience!
Is he really that fat?
He does balloon and the away kit doesn't do him any favours
