I think that's just reaching. Racism might materialise in more than one way, but it's just absurd to argue that it's not at the heart of the kneeling conflict or that the larger picture doesn't tie into social discrimination of black people.
In any event, I have never defended, nor will I ever defend, bigotry in football. Italy is a proper shit hole when it comes to racism in sport, and so is Spain. The south european football leagues have a huge problem with abuse of black players specifically, both verbal and institutionalised, and it's inherited from how minorities are treated socially. You seem to come at me for some reason for stating this and I'd love to know why.
