Spurs will be a different test for Ajax. No favorite there in my opinion. Anything could happen. If anything, I think Liverpool are exactly the kind of team Barca will hate playing.

Yeah I know its weird but I feel the same way too, although Liverpool winning it actually makes no difference to us given their european pedigree.

I can't stomach Spurs winning it before us, already hating the fact they are in semis and it's a decade since we even make it past the last 16. Fucking hell

Agreed, I think it's a stupid rule. The mistake is as much on City for their sloppy pass back as it is on Spurs for being offsides. There was nothing deliberate in the deflection, and no way someone could intend to deflect to a team mate.

I have never seen a deflection leading to an offside.

It's the same as backpass, whenever there is a deflection it is not counted as deliberately playing the ball and therefore not a backpass. That can't be offside surely if it's not intentional
